Preschool Registration and Tuition

Monthly Payment

Tuition - $650
For operating hours 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Additional Fees

Application Fee - $50
To be submitted with application & placed on wait list

Annual Registration Fee - $50
To reserve space for each year of enrollment

Annual Comprehensive Fee - $120
Consumable materials, activity/excursion fees

Deposit - $350
To be paid as acceptance and confirmation of student enrollment. Deposit is applied towards the final tuition payment before withdrawal. It is forfeited unless one month’s written notice is submitted to the preschool office.

Daily Rate - $35
Pro-rated tuition is applicable when a child attends for a partial month upon enrollment or withdrawal.

Early Morning Drop-off - $25/month or $2/day
For drop-offs between 7:00-7:30 a.m.

Late Pick-up - $10 per every 5 minutes of delay
After 5:30 p.m.

Service Fee for each returned check - $15

Late Payment Fee - $15
After 10th of the month

Payment Policy

Checks payable to: Makiki Christian Church Preschool
No cash. All payments are non-refundable.

Registrations for Makiki Preschool are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable registration fee is required to ensure enrollment. For additional information pertaining to admission requirements, policies, and procedures, please read the General Information section.

  • Tuition is due on the first school day of the month. Mail or hand-deliver all payments to the Director or Office Aide during school hours. Retain all receipts for: tax purposes, state, or other agencies that require documentation to receive any financial subsidies.
  • Withdrawals: One month written notice is required for any withdrawals from preschool.
  • If for any reason of extreme hardship and/or hospitalization, the child must be kept out of school for an extended period or withdrawn altogether, the school must be notified and the pro-rated credit will be allowed for the time the child must remain out of school. No refunds or pro-rating or credits will be made for any other type of absence.
  • Service fee of $15.00 for returned checks. If a second check is returned, a $15.00 service fee will be assessed and all subsequent payments will be made by money order.
